When modifying the suspension with a lift kit, the entire geometry of the axle construction changes drastically. In vehicles with a rigid front axle guided by a standard Panhard rod, lifting the body causes the entire axle to shift unevenly to one side. The consequences are an asymmetrical wheelbase, deteriorated steering behavior, uneven tire wear, and increased stress on steering and drive components.

The adjustable front Panhard rod (control arm/track bar) from MorE 4x4 is the professional solution to fully restore the correct suspension geometry. This product replaces the original, rigid Panhard rod and allows the front axle to be precisely realigned centrally under the ladder frame after a suspension lift of +2 inches (5 cm) or +4 inches (10 cm). Thanks to the integrated adjustment mechanism, the axle can be adjusted with absolute precision.

The construction of the MorE 4x4 Panhard rod has been extremely reinforced (Heavy Duty) to withstand the enormous lateral forces acting on the front wheels in rough terrain, during sidehill driving, or fast off-road driving. A durable powder coating reliably protects the component from corrosion, mud, and stone chips.

The main task of a Panhard rod:

The Panhard rod is a transverse link mounted perpendicular to the direction of travel, which absorbs the lateral forces transmitted from the wheels to the vehicle. It ensures that the rigid axle remains in a predefined, stable position relative to the frame and body. An indispensable component for safe, stable, and predictable driving behavior on asphalt as well as on demanding off-road expeditions.
