Depending on the model, sturdy aluminium frames and durable 280 g/m² polyester fabric are used. This makes the awnings suitable for regular camping and off-road travel while allowing them to be transported compactly on the outside of the vehicle.

What to check before purchasing

Before choosing an awning, check the available mounting space, the required opening direction, packed dimensions and weight. Your roof rack or crossbars must also be suitable for the additional load. In windy conditions, vehicle awnings should always be supported and securely guyed out.
