This skid plate covers three essential components simultaneously: the engine (incl. oil pan), the front axle differential, and the susceptible steering linkage with tie rods.

However, those who drive this heavy 4x4 appropriately in harsh terrain, on long-distance trips, or in demanding work environments quickly realize that the original plastic or thin sheet metal covers are inadequate. Since the 100 series (except for rare solid axle models) has an independent front suspension, the front differential housing and steering components are inherently extremely exposed in the potential impact area. An inattentive impact on sharp rocks, massive tree stumps, or hard bottoming out in deep ruts can irreparably bend the tie rods or tear open the engine oil pan – leading to immediate oil loss and catastrophic engine damage.

This vehicle-specific 3-in-1 underbody protection perfectly closes this critical safety gap in your off-roader's underbody. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, this skid plate can be mounted completely independently and separately, without necessarily requiring the installation of the remaining plates of the underbody system.

⚠️ Important Compatibility Note: This skid plate is specifically designed for use in combination with the MorE 4x4 steel bumper (model OM-Z028). It connects perfectly to this winch bumper, forming a closed, aerodynamic ramp at the front of the vehicle. It fits all engine variants (such as the 4.2L turbodiesel or the 4.7L V8 petrol engine).
