Upgrade the main suspension mounting points on your Jeep Cherokee KJ for demanding off-road use and high loads. Soft or worn original rubber can allow additional wheel and rear-axle movement at the numerous front and rear control-arm positions.

This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty polyurethane kit is available in separate versions for the 2002–2003 and 2004–2008 model groups.

Firmer suspension location

The firmer PU deforms less under high loads and can help retain wheel and axle position more consistently. The trade-off can be increased transfer of impacts, noise and vibration to the body and interior.

• Front lower control arms: 4 PU bushes and 4 metal sleeves
• Front lower shock-absorber mounts: 2 PU bushes and 2 metal sleeves
• Rear lower control arms: 4 PU bushes and 4 metal sleeves
• Rear upper triangular control arm: 2 PU bushes
• Front anti-roll bar: 2 PU bushes
• Rear anti-roll bar: 2 PU bushes

Installation note

At the positions designed for rubber removal, retain the original outer metal shell. Remove only the old rubber and install the PU bush into the existing shell. Inspect all arms and mounting points before fitting.
