The Nissan Navara D22 combines independently located front wheels with a leaf-sprung rear axle. Worn rubber bushes can therefore affect both front steering precision and rear-axle location under payload.

This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty off-road polyurethane kit renews the front control-arm bushes, rear leaf-spring bushes and front anti-roll-bar mounting points. It is designed for pick-ups that regularly carry loads or work off road.

PU for different front- and rear-axle loads

At the control arms, the more shape-stable PU can reduce unwanted wheel-location movement under braking and lateral forces. At the leaf springs and shackles, it can limit sideways deflection under payload and on uneven ground.

The firmer 85 Shore A specification can therefore support more defined suspension location under high loads. It can also transmit more road impacts to the frame and body than a softer bush specification.

Important note on the front upper control arms

For the front upper control-arm bushes, remove only the old rubber from the original bush. The outer metal shell remains in the control arm and is reused when fitting the PU bushes.

Installation note

Remove the remaining old bushes completely and clean all mounting points thoroughly. Use the supplied assembly grease on the specified contact surfaces. Suspension and axle-location work should be carried out professionally, and all fasteners should be rechecked after installation.
