Combine partial caster correction with more controlled axle location on your Nissan Patrol Y60 or early Y61 2.8 TD lifted by approximately 50 mm / 2 inches. A lift reduces front-axle caster and can affect steering self-centring and straight-line behaviour.
This orange 75 Shore A XL polyurethane kit uses eccentric bushes at the axle-side mounts of the front control arms together with regular bushes for the remaining positions. Anti-roll-bar bushes are not included.
The eccentric axle-side bushes reposition the front axle within the control-arm mounts and can partially restore caster reduced by the lift. The actual geometry also depends on springs, lift height, arms, axle position and the condition of the rest of the suspension.
Polyurethane deforms less than soft or worn rubber under braking, drive and lateral forces. This can help the control arms and Panhard rods guide the axles more consistently.
Install the eccentric bushes precisely in the specified rotational position. Incorrect orientation can alter the geometry in the wrong direction. Check suspension geometry, axle position and steering behaviour professionally after fitting.
These versions have different hardness levels and recommended uses.
