Renew the shock-absorber mounting bushes on your Nissan Patrol Y60 or Y61 for demanding off-road and high-load use. Soft, cracked or worn original rubber can allow unwanted movement or rattling at the mounting points.
This blue 85 Shore A heavy-duty polyurethane kit covers the front and rear shock absorbers. It does not change the damping rate, but provides a more shape-stable mounting under high loads.

More stable damper mounting
The firmer PU deforms less than aged rubber at the damper mounts during rapid axle movement and changing loads. This can guide the shock absorbers with less unwanted movement at their mounting points.
The firmer connection can also transmit more noise and vibration. New bushes cannot compensate for worn damper eyes, scored bolts or defective shock absorbers; these parts must be checked separately.

Installation note
Inspect the shock-absorber eyes, bolts and mounts for corrosion, wear and deformation. Install the bushes without preload and tighten all fasteners to the vehicle manufacturer's specification.
