On the Opel Frontera B, the front control arms and guided rear axle work together to maintain stable wheel and axle positions. When several original rubber bushes become soft or worn, the vehicle can feel less precise during steering, braking and load changes.

This orange 75 Shore A polyurethane kit renews the listed front- and rear-suspension and anti-roll-bar mounting points. It is designed for a comprehensive overhaul for mixed road, touring and off-road use.

More defined wheel and axle location

Aged rubber can deform more heavily under braking, lateral and drive forces, allowing the control arms, trailing arms and rear axle to move further than intended. Polyurethane retains its shape more consistently and can reduce this additional play.

This can support more defined front-wheel guidance and more stable longitudinal and lateral location of the rear axle. The final result also depends on the condition of joints, wheel bearings, dampers and steering components.

Installation note

Remove the old bushes completely, inspect all mounting points for wear or deformation and clean the contact surfaces thoroughly. Suspension and axle-location work should be carried out professionally, and all fasteners should be rechecked after installation.
