The MorE 4x4 Steel Transfer Case Skid Plate for the Jeep Gladiator JT (model year 2019 and later) offers high-strength protection for one of the most important mechanical components of your all-wheel drive system. While the engine and main transmission shield the front underside, the transfer case is structurally located relatively low in the center of the vehicle and requires uncompromising protection from below during tough off-road use.

The Jeep Gladiator JT with the high-torque 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel is an outstanding overland and expedition vehicle. However, those who use the pickup off-road on rocky trails, through deep ruts, over crests, or in tough forestry operations expose the vehicle to extreme dangers, especially in the central underbody area. When driving over crests, hard embankment edges, or massive tree stumps in the undergrowth, the center of the vehicle is highly vulnerable. If the heavy Gladiator impacts hard here, there is a risk of cracks or fractures in the delicate aluminum housing of the transfer case, damage to the actuator unit for the all-wheel drive control, and fatal oil loss – which immediately cripples the entire all-wheel drive system and results in extremely expensive repair costs.

This vehicle-specific underride protection perfectly closes this security gap. The smooth surface also ensures that in an emergency, the vehicle glides over obstacles instead of getting snagged with the frame on rocks or roots. Thanks to the well-thought-out design, this skid plate can be installed completely independently and separately, without necessarily having to install the remaining plates of the underbody system (such as the front engine or radiator protection).

⚠️ Important compatibility note: This skid plate is precisely adapted to the Jeep Gladiator JT models from model year 2019 with the 3.0L V6 EcoDiesel (CRD). For other engine variants (such as the 3.6L Pentastar V6 gasoline engine), this plate is not suitable due to altered mounting points and exhaust system routing.
