The MorE 4x4 Steel Transfer Case Skid Plate for the Toyota Hilux Revo (Generation 8) offers high-strength protection for one of the most important mechanical components of your all-wheel drive. While the front section is usually protected first, the transfer case, due to its design, sits relatively low and unprotected in the middle of the vehicle, above the driveshaft outputs.

The Hilux Revo is known for its immense robustness, but those who drive it in rough terrain, on overland tours, or in demanding work applications in the forest expose the vehicle, especially the middle underbody area, to extreme dangers. When driving over crests, rocky forest paths, hard embankment edges, or massive tree stumps, the vehicle's center is highly vulnerable. If the heavy pick-up hits hard here, there is a risk of cracks or fractures in the sensitive aluminum housing of the transfer case, damage to the actuator unit for all-wheel-drive engagement, and fatal oil loss – which immediately cripples the entire all-wheel drive and results in extremely expensive repair costs.

This vehicle-specific underride guard perfectly closes this security gap. The smooth surface also ensures that in an emergency, the vehicle glides smoothly over obstacles instead of getting snagged on stones or roots with the frame. Thanks to its well-thought-out design, this skid plate can be mounted completely independently and separately, without necessarily having to install the remaining plates of the underbody system (such as the front engine or transmission protection).
