Lifting a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 changes the front-axle caster angle. This can affect steering self-centring and straight-line stability.

This orange 75 Shore A PU kit combines standard suspension bushings with eccentric bushings at the axle-side mounts of the front control arms. It is intended to partially correct caster with a lift of approximately 50 mm or 2 inches.

Measure before ordering

Measure the width of the existing frame-side bushings or control-arm mounts. The selected version determines the 35 or 40 mm mounting positions included in the kit.

Caster correction with eccentric bushings

The eccentric bore offsets the front axle within the bushing mount and can partially compensate for the caster reduction caused by the lift. The result depends on the springs, actual lift height, control arms, axle position and the condition of the complete suspension.

PU is more dimensionally stable than ageing rubber and therefore helps maintain the adjusted geometry more consistently. The kit does not replace a professional wheel-alignment check.

Installation note

Install the eccentric bushings in the specified rotational position. Incorrect orientation can alter the geometry in the wrong direction. After installation, have caster, axle position and steering behaviour checked professionally.
