Renew the leaf-spring bushes on your UAZ 469 with a comfort-oriented polyurethane compound. Soft, cracked or permanently deformed original rubber can allow the spring eyes, shackles and axles to move more than intended under load.

This green 65 Shore A comfort kit covers all four leaf springs. It combines the more shape-stable guidance of polyurethane with a softer setup than the orange standard and blue off-road versions.

PU control with a comfort-focused setup

Even the softer 65 Shore A compound retains its shape better than aged rubber under load. This can guide the spring eyes and shackles more consistently around their intended pivot points without aiming for the firmer response of the harder versions.

Actual ride comfort also depends on the condition of the spring packs, dampers, bolts, shackles and tyres.

Installation note

Inspect the spring eyes, bolts, shackles and chassis mounts for corrosion, scoring or deformation. Finally tighten the fasteners at normal ride height to avoid unnecessary preload in the bushes.
